The Town
Tucked into the hills of Northwest Arkansas, Lost Valley is the kind of place you'd drive right through without stopping. A main street. A few old families. Woods that go on forever.
But if you stayed a while, you'd start to notice things. The way conversations stop when certain names come up. The houses with lights on at 3am. The old stories people tell after a few drinks—then pretend they never said.
Lost Valley has been keeping secrets for generations.
And every now and then, one of them turns deadly.

The Woman Behind the Curtain
Hi! I'm Rachel, and I'm the one who shows up at your party pretending to know who murdered someone.
I started Lost Valley Mysteries because I believe the best parties have a story. Not just "stand around and chat" but "stand around, chat, and accuse your coworker of fictional homicide."
I love community and parties so combining the two with my third interest: Unsolved Mysteries was a natural collaboration. I build murder mysteries, develop deeply unhinged character backstories, and watch people have way too much fun pretending to be suspicious.
I handle everything—writing the mysteries, running the events, and making sure your casual friend Jessica doesn't actually get offended when someone accuses her of poisoning the victim (It's all part of the game, Jessica!).
When I'm not plotting fictional crimes, I'm probably reading about them. Thrillers, horror, true crime, mystery novels—if someone dies on page one, I'm interested. I consume stories in every format I can get my hands on. You could say I've been researching this job my whole life.
