i’m obsessed with supporting local artists

As a person, I am so extra. I can't do anything normally — I have to take it at least two or three steps bigger than it needs to be. As it turns out, I'm also like this in business.

I was talking with the team about needing shirts for us to wear to marketing events (or just in general). The thought of DIY'ing a shirt — designing it myself in Canva — was too much for me. Don't get me wrong, I'm very familiar with Canva and use it all the time for various things. But I couldn't stand the thought of designing a t-shirt with it. I wanted something more.

Fortunately, I'm surrounded by artists. My kids, my partner, my friends — I know a lot of talented people. So I reached out to my dear friend and local artist, Terry McNeill, to see if they had room in their schedule for a new client. Thankfully, they did!

Terry did an amazing job bringing my vision to life — but in their style. What we ended up with is a Lost Valley town sign with a vintage feel. The mountains are perfect. The crow perching on the sign? Chef's kiss.

If you want to rep Lost Valley (and support a local artist while you're at it), you can snag the shirt here.

See?! Sometimes it’s worth it to be so extra!

Please check out Terry's other work on Instagram: @Bolgnapony - they are so TALENTED.
